Economic Effects Analysis of Investment on Health Industry

Abstract
This paper is carried out to compare and analyze both the indirect and direct effects by the Input-Output analysis model which the investment on the health industry has an influence on the health industry and the other ones. And the paper also looks at current trend in new industry growth in the field of health industry and subdivision.
Instead of 28*28 Sector Tables which was being used in the existing research, 168*168 Sector Tables was used as the first analysis tool. The Input-Output Tables was rewritten and analyzed according to new approach. Unlike the existing research, more various analyzing steps were used in this paper. The induced coefficients such as products, value-added, employment, imports, backward and forward linkage effect were used as the main analysis tools, while industrial induced coefficients such as employee¡¯s pay, sales surplus, product tax and employment were used as the subsidiary tools.
The result of investment analysis shows that health industry have far-reaching effects on the major macroeconomic factors such as products, value-added, employment and product tax and so on. Therefore, the comprehensive and systematic management of the government in the investment on the health industry are needed to improve the effectiveness of investing on the health industry.
